Braxton's Arrival

Baby Braxton entered the world at 5:06pm on January 8, 2009, at Baylor Medical Center in Grapevine. God gave us a perfectly healthy 6lb 8oz 19.5in baby boy. Daddy's writing this post so that Momma can rest. She's doing great, and we will be going home either Sunday or Monday, just depending on how Robyn's feeling. She says the food is excellent actually, so we might just be staying until Monday! :)

Braxton is adjusting quickly to the harsh life in the real world, and he even agreed to a photo session this morning with the hospital photographer. Those 'official' photos will be up on our website soon, but until then you can browse through the hundred or so pictures on our gallery. There are also some videos that you can watch!

Here are a few pics from the hospital. The first one was taken minutes after the c-section delivery in the operating room. He weighed in at a healthy 6lbs 8oz.

The second pic is from his initial trip the nursery after the nurse finished with all his after-birth cleaning, testing, etc.
